Our Services

To ensure the safety and success of all dogs, handlers, and trainers, the following requirements must be met before participating in training classes, private lessons, hikes, walks, or group activities.

 

Eligibility Requirements

 

* Dogs must be **at least 8 weeks of age** to participate.

* Dogs must be healthy and free of contagious illnesses.

* Dogs showing signs of illness (vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, fever, etc.) should not attend training sessions.

 

Required Vaccinations

 

Dogs must be current on age-appropriate vaccinations as recommended by their veterinarian.

 

Puppies (8 weeks and older)

 

* DHPP/DAPP (Distemper, Hepatitis/Adenovirus, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza) according to veterinary schedule

 

Adult Dogs

 

* DHPP/DAPP

* Rabies (as required by local law)

* Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

 

**Proof of vaccination is required before participation.**

 

Required Equipment

 

Please bring the following items to each training session:

 

Training treats (small, soft, high-value treats recommended)

Standard 6-foot leash * No retractable leashes permitted

Flat collar or martingale collar**

Properly fitted harness**

15–20 foot training leash (long line)** for recall training, hikes, and outdoor exercises

Waste bags for cleanup

Water for your dog during outdoor activities

 

Behavioral Requirements

 

Dogs must be manageable by their handler in a training environment.

Dogs must be able to participate safely around people and other dogs.

Aggressive dogs are not permitted in group classes, hikes, city walks, or other group activities.

Dogs with a history of aggression toward people or dogs may be referred to private training and behavior assessment before participating in any program.

 

Handler Responsibilities

 

Arrive on time for scheduled sessions.

Keep your dog on leash unless instructed otherwise by the trainer.

Maintain control of your dog at all times.

Follow trainer instructions to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.

Clean up after your dog immediately.

 

Failure to meet these requirements may result in removal from the training session or program.
